images

Friday, November 19, 9AM-4PM:

presented by Shari Jung, LCSW, LMFT, CGP and Marti Kranzberg, Ph.D., ABPP, FAGPA, CGP

In these times of increased unpredictability, fear and economic instability, it is no surprise that clients are experiencing a variety of responses ranging from vague apprehension to fear and paranoia.  Group therapy has the potential for clients to explore interpersonal, intrapsychic and social elements of anxiety.  In this workshop, presenters will explore the many forms anxiety can take in group, strategies for therapeutic work and ethical considerations. The format will include lecture, demonstration, discussion, and case consultation.

Shari Porter Jung, LCSW, LMFT, CGP and Marti Kranzberg, Ph.D, ABPP, FAGPA, CGP have had extensive experience in practicing and teaching both Group Therapy and Redecision Therapy.  Both have been longtime members of DGPS, Southwestern Group Psychotherapy Society and the American Group Psychotherapy where they both have presented and conducted numerous training workshops.  They were also on the faculty of DGPS’s certified group therapist training program for years.  They both have private practices in Dallas and have had extensive experience as clinical supervisors and consultants to many agencies.  We are privileged to be able to experience the combined expertise of these two master clinicians and group therapy trainers!
